Four Alabama A&M senior football players will have a chance to showcase their abilities Saturday at the annual HBCU Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. at Alabama State's Cramton Bowl beginning at 2:00 p.m.  Running back Ulysses Banks, wide receiver Thomas Harris, center Xavier Manuel, and defensive end Jeremy Maddox will be members of the West All-Star team that is made up of members from the SWAC and SIAC.  The East All-Star team will consist of MEAC and CIAA players.

Banks ended the season as the SWAC's leading rusher with 1123 yards, and had 109 yards on 20 carries in the SWAC Championship Game.  For his career, Banks rushed for 2559 yards and scored 28 touchdowns (26 rushing, 2 kick return).

Harris finished his Alabama A&M career with a school record 205 catches for 3259 yards and 24 touchdowns (23 receiving, 1 rushing).

Manuel was a three-year starter on the offensive line and the leader of a unit that paved the way for the SWAC's top rushing attack in 2009.  Manuel's greatest asset may be his durability at one of the toughest positions to play long-term.

Maddox finished the season as one of the top pass rushers in the nation finishing with 12.0 sacks and 16.5 tackles-for-loss.  For his career, Maddox finished with 32.5 sacks and 46.0 tackles-for-loss.
