Baseball split its series with the visiting Tornadoes of Talladega College on Monday March 30 at Bulldog field. The Bulldogs won the first game, 7-5, but were shutout 8-0 in game two. A&M baseball is now 7-12 on the season. The team is back in action on Tues. March 31 when the Bulldogs travel to play Tennessee Tech. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
In the first game, Kency Duarte led A&M with three hits and three runs and one RBI. Alton Ellison went 2-for-2 with two runs and two runs batted in. Diego Lopez recorded one hit and two runs, while Jeremy Bush had two hits on the afternoon. Bernard McKinny pitched six innings and was credited with the win.
A&M struggled offensively in the second game, recording just four hits. Marcus Spencer, LaDale Hayes, Fabian Harper, and Duarte accounted for the only Bulldog hits.
A&M is back in action on Tues. March 31 at Tennessee Tech.
