The Alabama A&M softball team scored 26 total runs in its two wins against Corncordia at Bulldog Field. The double-header marks the largest margin of victory for the Bulldogs this season. A&M is back in action on Wed. April 15 when it hosts Austin Peay for a double-header. First pitch is set for 1:30 p.m.
In the first game, the Bulldogs dominiated the Hornets, recorded eight hits and taking advantage of six errors. Pitcher Hali Buie was credited with the win. She pitched a complete game and fanned seven batters. On the offensive side, Buie recorded a hit and two runs. Re'Quincia Mack went 1-for-3 at bat with three runs scored. Caitlin Bradfield went 2-for-3, while driving in three and scoring two runs. Ebony Thomas scored four runs. Britney White and Sabrina Hurns recorded four and two runs, respectively.
A&M picked up where it left off in the first game, scoring a total of 11 runs. Mack went 2-for-3 with three runs and four RBI. Hurns had two hits, a run, and a run batted in. Krissy Miles received the win on the mound - pitching five innings and striking out four.
The Bulldogs will play Austin Peay on Wed. April 15 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
