Softball Ends Season on High Note

The Bulldogs scored 25 total runs against their season finale against Concordia on Monday April 20 in Selma, Ala. In the first game, pitcher Hali Buie received the win - pitching a complete game and fanning 9-of-18 batters faced. Krissy Miles received the win in game two - pitching four innings and striking out five batters. With the sweep, A&M softball ends its 2009 season 12-23-1 overall.
The Bulldogs were led in game one by Corissa Deadwyler who went 3-for-3 at bat with a run and three RBI. Re'Quincia Mack and Sabrina Hurns both went 1-for-2 with two runs scored. Hurns also drove in two.
In the second game, the Bulldogs dominated the game from the first pitch with four runs in the top of the first. Eight Bulldogs scored runs, with Deadwyler leading the way with three.
