NORMAL – With the 2010 season opener just days away athletic director Betty Austin wants to remind fans that season and single game tickets are still available.
“We want to make this a banner year for the team, school and community,” Austin said.
The 2010 season opens in familiar territory for the Maroon & White in the John Merritt Classic. A&M defeated Tennessee State 24-7 in 2009 and is riding a two game win streak over the Tigers.
The kickoff for the 100th season celebration begins by honoring the legendary former football coach, Louis Crews with the Louis Crews Classic on Saturday, September 11 at 6:00 p.m.
