Lady Bulldog Tennis Signs Georgia Prospect

NORMAL – Alabama A&M head men’s and women’s tennis coach Thomas Colvin is pleased to announce that Jessica Taylor has signed an National Letter of Intent to play tennis for the Lady Bulldogs in 2012.

“Jessica gives us some depth in our lineup that we haven’t had in the last couple of years,” Colvin commented. “Her strength and work ethic will give her a chance to step in and make some contributions right away.”

Taylor, a 2011 graduate of Thomson High School, played the number one singles position for four years, amassing a record of thirty-eight wins and only two loses.  She led her team to Georgia state tournament her sophomore, junior, and senior years, placing third in their region all three seasons.

Jessica, a state and national level competitor, began tennis at the meager age of three and participated competitively at the age of nine.  She is a tennis product of MACH Academy in Augusta, Ga.

She is the daughter of Henry and Stephanie Taylor. She has one younger sister Morgan Taylor (14), and plans to major in Biology.
