CFPA recognizes Lacey for 200 yard performance

College Football Performance Awards

NORMAL – Senior running back Kaderius Lacey will now be remembered as the all-time rushing leader at Alabama A&M University.

The former Calera star rushed for 205 yards on 31 carries versus Alcorn State, his first 200 yard game in his career, and became the all-time rusher leading on “The Hill” eclipsing Ulysses Banks 2,559 yards. The College Football Performance Awards recognized Lacey with an honorable mention nod.

Lacey has carried the ball for the Maroon & White for 2,579 yards going for 32 in 2009, 710 in 2010, 1,143 in 2011 and currently the All-SWAC performer has 694 yards in 2012.  The 6-0, 218 pound star has 19 touchdowns scored in his career and needs eight to secure the TD scored title.
