Tough Road Test ahead for Bulldogs

AMES - The Bulldogs of Alabama A&M will hit the road to face Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa with tip-off set for 7 p.m. in the Hilton Coliseum.

“I feel really good about this team,” Hayes mentioned. “In our first road game the biggest things is adjusting to the crowd. I’m looking for our guys to playing hard and get rebounds.”

The Maroon and White defeated Miles College in their season opener 68-48 on Friday night. Junior Demarquelle Tabb led the way with his first double-double of the year and 10th in his career with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Junior Brandon Ellis was the only other Bulldog that saw double digit points with 14.

The Cyclones had three players record double-doubles in the win over Southern, Percy Gibson led the Cyclones with 17 points, 10 rebounds, Will Clyburn 16 points, 10 rebounds, and Georges Niang rounded out the top three with15 points and 12 rebounds.
