Marshall named SWAC player of the week by College Sports Madness

NORMAL -- College Sports Madness has named Alabama A&M linebacker Vernon Marshall the Madness SWAC Defensive Player of the Week for his exceptional performance this past weekend.

Marshall raked up 13 tackles tying his career high in the one point victory over Southern University on Senior day.

The Madness identifies the highest impact players nationally and the top offensive and defensive player from each FCS conference in our weekly feature. This is the senior linebacker’s fourth weekly honor in 2012.
