Webb named to All-American team; Bulldogs finish eighth in Black College Polls

NORMAL – Jamal Johnson-Webb was recently named to the Boxtorow All-American team as an honorable mention nod.

Webb was recently named to two All-Star games and has been interviewed by every team in the NFL. The 6’7 left tackle opened holes 2012 for the current all-time leading rusher in Division I history at Alabama A&M. AAMU finished fifth in total offense, fifth in scoring offense, fifth in passing efficiency and second in red zone offense in 2012.

The Bulldog football team has finished eighth in the Sheridan Broadcasting Network and the Boxtorow Black College Polls for their 7-4 finish in 2012.

A&M started the season hot at 6-0 and was one time ranked the number 25 team in the Football Championship Subdivision and the number 2 team in all of Black College Football. But a 1-4 finish in the five remaining games with losses at homecoming and the Magic City Classic dropped the once hot Bulldogs out of post season contention.
