Men’s Basketball set to play Mercer University

Game Notes

NORMAL—The Bulldog basketball team will travel to Macon, Georgia for a 7 p.m. contest versus the Mercer University Bears on Saturday, December 8^th.

A&M (2-4) is coming off their first loss at home at the hands of Tennessee State 83-72. Juniors Brandon Ellis and Jeremy Crutcher led the team with 16 points apiece.

Junior Demarquelle Tabb leads the team averaging 11.5 points after six games played. He also leads the team in rebounds with 9.5 boards per game.

Mercer (4-5) is coming off their fifth loss of the year at the hands of the University of Denver 69-40 Wednesday evening.

Leading the way for the Bears is Travis Smith who has 97 points in nine games averaging 10.8 per contest. Coming in second in the scoring department for Mercer is Jakob Gollon who averages 7.7 a game.

The game is schedule for a 6 p.m. Central Standard Time tip-off which is 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
