Tremaine Shepherd earns a College Football Performance Awards mention

College Football Performance Awards - Week 7 Honors

NORMAL – Senior defensive back Tremaine Shepherd has earned the College Football Performance Awards honorable mention for his two interceptions for six yards and a tackle versus Southern University.

Shepherd has totaled 15 tackles, three picks for six yards, a tackle for loss, two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry in seven contests played.

"Tremaine has really come along. He is a good player who has contributed to the program," head coach Anthony Jones mentioned. "Congratulations to him he deserved it."
