Normal- With the regular season over and the post-season tournament set to begin, three Lady Bulldog soccer players have earned post season ALL-SWAC honors.
Freshmen Estelle Esperance and Andrea Chacon along with junior Ana Huertas have been named to the All-Southwestern Athletic Conference teams. Both freshman earned second team nods while Huertas earned a first team accomplishment.
Andrea Chacon earned 57 points and three first place votes to earn her place as a second team defender. Esperance finished with 67 points and one first place vote to earn her selection as a second team forward. Leading the way for the Maroon & White, Huertas earned her first team midfield selection with 127 points and six first place votes.
Huertas earned the most points out of all the All-SWAC selections across the 10-team conference.
The All-SWAC selections will now lead the Maroon & White in their first round playoff game versus the Lady Jaguars of Southern University on Thursday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m.
