Women’s tennis falls to Southeast Missouri

Normal- The Alabama A&M women’s tennis team fell to 1-7 overall, after being swept, 7-0, by the Redhawks of Southeast Missouri.

The Maroon & White dropped each of the three doubles matches they played on the day, and each of the singles matches. In each match, A&M was able to win games, but were unable to get over the hump and defeat their opponent.

Senior Shannon Warner was the only Lady Bulldog to play extended sets. After winning the first set in her singles match, Warner fell to her competition in three sets.

The Maroon & White will return to the courts March 8^th, when they travel to Montgomery, Ala. to take on in-state rival Alabama State.
