Normal-It was the last tune-up meet for the Bulldog track teams, and they took full advantage at the Tennessee State Boston Moon Classic, the Maroon & White tallied numerous victories, season highs and personal records.

Both Bulldog squads put themselves in great positions to perform well at next week’s SWAC Track & Field Championships taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana.

On the day, Marion Epperson threw a season high distance of 39.90-meters in the women’s discus to take first place and Demetrius Peacock set his personal record of 54.95 seconds in the men’s 400-meter hurdles to earn a third place finish.

A&M finished with 35 top ten finishes including 18 top five finishes. The Bulldogs took victories in the women’s discus (Epperson), men’s 100-meter dash (Marion Malone 10.87 seconds), and in the men’s 110-meter hurdles (Donte’ McDaniel 14.79 seconds).

Now that the regular season has ended, the Maroon & White track squads will take the next week to prepare further for the SWAC Championship meet April 19-21in New Orleans, Louisiana.
