Three Bulldogs excel at 2013 Samford Multi and Invitational

Normal- Although the conference season is officially over, Bulldog runners are still hitting the track.

This weekend, Donte’ McDaniel, Marion Malone, and Shaquina Phalo participated in the Samford University hosted meet in Birmingham, Alabama.

While in the Magic City, Malone finished 13^th overall in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.06 seconds. Malone continues to prepare for the NCAA regional meet in which he will compete in the 100-meter dash.

The lone Lady Bulldog, Shaquina Phalo took a sixth place finish in the women’s 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.01.

McDaniel led the way, with two top-five finishes. McDaniel placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.86 seconds and finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.74.
