A&M Bowling wins Second Annual NTCA Team Grade Point Average Award

NASHVILLE, TN- The National Ten Pin Coaches Association has announced that Alabama A&M is the winner of its second annual team grade point average award. Coach Jeff McCorvey's Bulldogs compiled an impressive 3.8 cumulative gpa from its members for the 2012-2013 school year.

"At Alabama A&M we stress academics first," McCorvey said.

"I am very proud of the players, this means a lot more to me than anything they can do on the lanes. Academics will help them in the long run and will take them further in life," McCorvey continued.

The NTCA recognized 23 institutions for having a team gpa over 3.2 for the academic year 2013-2014.
