Alabama A&M Bowling recognized in Bowlers Journal

NORMAL – If you haven't already then maybe you should even if it's the first time all Bulldogs fans should pick up a copy of Bowlers Journal International as it mentions Alabama A&M bowling team head coach Jeff McCorvey.

The Owens Cross Roads, Alabama native has been involved in the game of pins and balls since 1964.  MCCorvey highest game as a bowler is a 220 and has achieved ten 300 games on the lanes.  He also has collected three 800 series games with a high of 813.

The owner of McCorvey's ProShops will be participating in a new feature at the International Bowl Expo.  Being Successful - Promoting Yourself as a Pro Shop & Coach is the title of the headliners presentation.

The Bowling Proprietor's Association of America annual showcase is will be held June 23rd through the 28th and Bowlers Journal list 26 reason for bowling center owners, pro shop operators and other involved in the business of bowling to attend.  Listed by alphabetical order Alabama A&M University is listed first and the article talks about coach McCorvey's presentation.

"The Bowl expo is a combination of bowling owners, USBC officials, coaches and pro shop operators. Because of my dual role as coach and shop owner I have a unique take in the fields," McCorvey said.
 
"I presented on how to be pro shop owner and coach and how to make it a successful career.
 
McCorvey accomplishments include IBPSIA Technically Certified, IBPSIA Lead Instructor, USBC Bowling Silver Level Coach, USBC Bowling Bronze Level Coach, USBIA Certified Instructor, USBC Level 1 Certified Instructor, NCAA Certified Coach, Alabama Hall of Fame, Huntsville Hall of Fame, and PBA Member since 1986.
