Normal- Alabama A&M football players represent the Maroon & White again on a preseason poll. Four Bulldog athletes were included in the 25th Annual USA College Football Division I-AA (FCS) Pre-Season All-American list.
Earning honors this year are offensive lineman Justin Goodrich and defensive players Corey Johnson, Derrick Harris and Reginald Bailey Jr.
This is senior Justin Goodrich's fourth preseason award for the 2013 season. Goodrich is the only Bulldog to be named to the preseason All-American third team.
The three defensive representatives for the 2013 squad all earned preseason All-American honorable mentions. Sophomore defensive linemen, Corey Johnson receives his second award after previously being named to the CollegeSportsMadness.com All-SWAC third team.
Senior defensive back Derrick Harris joins Johnson on the honorable mention list. Harris also received previous preseason honors, as he too earned a place on the CollegeSportsMadness.com All-SWAC third team.
Rounding out the Bulldog representatives on the preseason All-American list is junior Reginald Bailey Jr. The defensive lineman adds this honorable mention to his previous CollegeSportsMadness.com All-SWAC first team honor.
