2014 Spring Football Schedule

NORMAL– New head coach James Spady has announced his first spring football schedule.

On Saturday, April 4^th, the Maroon & White will hit the field for preparations for the upcoming 2014 season.

The spring season will start off with "Friday Night Under the Lights with The Bulldogs" (Friday, April 4^th, 7:00 pm/Practice #1). The event is an alumni function. The coaching staff has invited the former letter winners and football alumni to meet and mingle with the 2014 football team & coaches.

A&M will then take their show on the road to the Huntsville/Madison community with a scrimmage at Bob Jones High School, Saturday, April 12^th, beginning at 1:00 pm. Admission is free.

Later in in the month the football squad has invited all high school coaches to watch the team in a controlled scrimmage at Louis Crews Stadium on Wednesday, April 16^th.

The day will begin with a "Pistol" clinic then the Bulldog coaching staff will conduct breakout sessions and chalk talk at 4:30 PM for all coaches in attendance. That event will be followed by a controlled scrimmage and a social attended by the Bulldog coaching staff.

The Maroon & White will conclude the 2014 spring football season with the Annual Maroon and White Game which will take place in Louis Crews Stadium at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 26^th.

The festivities will include picture taking and an autograph session with the Bulldog players and coaches. The Alabama A&M band and cheerleaders will be in attendance, tailgating is encouraged.

This occasion will be an ideal time to come out and make your seat selections and purchase your season tickets.

"The football coaching staff at Alabama A&M University is excited about the bright future ahead of us and we are eager to share it with the supporters of Bulldog Football," said Spady. "We cannot wait to see you on "The Hill" this spring."

All practices during the preseason camp are open to the public. All visitors to practice, during and after, please remember that no photography, video or cell phone use is permitted during practice and that everyone must remain off the field.
