Curtis Robert Harris is a native of Daphne, Ala., and played football for AAMU from 1966 to 1970 for legendary Coach Louis Crews. Harris, also known as “Big Bruiser,” received All-Conference Offensive Guard Second Team (1969) and All-Conference Offensive Guard First Team (1970). He was Tri-Captain of the football team in 1969-1970. Harris was noted by the 100% Wrong Club, which is the highest honor that represents the best players First Team All Conference of the SIAC.
