    Larry Cornelius Addison played the position of wide receiver for the Bulldogs from 1980-84.  Addison, affectionately known as “Mr. Excitement,” was All-Conference in 1983 (flanker), All-Conference 1984 (split end), Outstanding Offensive Player, recipient of Miller High Life Most Valuable Player in 1984, Outstanding Offensive Player in 1984, SIAC Coors Player of the Week Program, and namesake of a $1,000 scholarship at Alabama A&M University.  Addison received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  Post AAMU, Addison was drafted with the Arizona Outlaws of the USFL but accepted a position with the Dallas Cowboys in 1985.  He injured his knee and never fully recovered.
