Madinah Abdullah was named the Betty K. Austin Invitational Most Valuable Player for her performance during the tournament. The Homewood, Ala. native went 12-for-18 for a .611 hitting percentage against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Also earning a spot on the team is sophomore Anna Crutchfield.
