Maroon & White Volleyball Scrimmage Set for Wednesday

NORMAL - The 2013 Alabama A&M volleyball team will host its annual Maroon and White scrimmage on Wednesday, August 21^st, in the T. M. Elmore Gymnasium beginning at 7 p.m.

Bulldog fans are encouraged to come and get their first view of the four-time Southwestern Athletic Conference champions. The Lady Bulldogs will officially open its 2013 campaign at the Purdue University tournament on August 30^th.

A&M completed the 2012 season with a 10-19 overall record and finished as runner-ups in the 2012 SWAC tournament.

A&M has won ten league championships in the last 13 years. Now in her seventh season, the Nedra Brown led squad will make their home debut on September 25^th, when they host the University of Tennessee Martin out of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
