Danija Walker was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Newcomer of the Week on August 27. She played 63 minutes in a road loss to Middle Tennessee State to open the week but played a huge role in 37 minutes of action in a 1-0 victory over Howard on Sunday. She netted the lone goal that gave the Bulldogs the upset win over the Bison.
