Lincoln, Neb. - Joe Martin scored 16 points and grabbed 14 reboumnds, and the Alabama A&M men's basketball team narrowly missed upsetting a Big 12 team on the road in a 67-60 loss at Nebraska. Obie Trotter, slowed by a stomach virus, scored 14 points and dished out six assists to go along with three steals.

The Bulldogs battled throughout the contest trailing 32-28 at the intermission. A&M's defensive pressure forced 19 Husker turnovers, and the Bulldogs blocked eight Nebraska shots on the night.

Michael Ford added 12 points for Alabama A&M.
