Joe Martin again led his team to victory as Alabama A&M won its third straight Monday, 74-67, over Mississippi Valley State. The Bulldogs never trailed in the game with Martin tallying 21 points and eight rebounds. A&M forced 18 turnovers and outscored the Delta Devils 16-6 in points off the other's miscues.

Michael Ford and Evan Hilton were also in double figures for the Bulldogs, scoring 13 and 10, respectively. Marcus Jones hit 9-10 free throws down the stretch to secure the victory. Mickell Gladness had five of the team's nine blocked shots. A&M is now 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the SWAC.
