Itta Bena, Miss. - Alabama A&M's first conference road trip hit a snag Monday night as Mississippi Valley State scored a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. Brittani Lewis had an outstanding night as she turned in 14 kills, 17 digs, three blocks and three server's aces. Brittany Sharp also had a solid performance with 13 kills, six digs and three blocks. The difference in the match was that MVSU won two of the first three games by two points, including a 34-32 victory in game one.
