Lady Bulldogs Hang Tought, but Fall at Home to Appalachian State

Alabama A&M hung tough Saturday with visiting Appalachian State, the Mountaineers prevailed in the end 86-64 at Elmore Gymnasium. The score does not show how competitive this game was as the Bulldogs were within seven points midway through the second half. Felicia Drummond had a career night with 18 points and seven rebounds to lead A&M.

Christian Malone stepped up with 16 points and five assists. Tamika Green was also in double figures with 10 points. She also had five steals.

ASU dominated the glass with a 55-36 advantage and also had 18 steals in forcing 26 A&M turnovers.
