Cincinnati, Ohio - Fresh off playing one of the top teams in the nation in Ohio State, Alabama A&M continued its difficult road trip Monday with a visit to Big East foe Cincinnati. The Lady Bulldogs fought to the end, but came up just short as the Bearcats held on for a 67-61 victory. Trailing by 15 at the half, A&M mounted a furious rally led by Tamika Green's 16 and Christian Malone's 14 points, respectively. Malone also finished with six assists. The Lady Bulldogs pulled to within four points on two occasions, including 65-61 and with the ball with just under a minute to play. In the end, though, Cincinnati blocked two shots defensively and hit key freethrows to seal the victory.
