Brandy Harrell drove in two runs and scored another, but Alabama A&M could not hold on to a late lead as Tennessee State won the first game of a doubleheader 8-7. Mother Nature won game two as it was washed out. A&M held a 7-5 lead entering the bottom of the fifth, but the Lady Tigers rallied for three runs and then held A&M in its final two at-bats. The loss kept the Lady Bulldogs winless on the season at 0-7.
Re'Qunicia Mack also drove in two runs for the Lady Bulldogs, who managed four hits on the afternoon. Debra Borcherding took the pitching loss after working into the fifth inning.
