The Alabama A&M softball team completed a four-game sweep of Texas Southern with two wins in a doubleheader Saturday, 10-4 in game one and 8-5 in game two. Angelia Heard knocked a three-run homerun in the nightcap. Heard finished the game 3-4 with three RBI. Jamie Williams earned the victory.

In the first game, A&M exploded for six runs in the sixth to seal the win. Ne'Chell Bowens had three hits, and Brandy Harrell drove in four runs. Debra Borcherding went the distance in the circle for the win.
