Pine Bluff, Ark. - Alabama A&M's road woes continued Saturday as a valiant comeback effort by the Bulldogs fell just short at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. A&M dropped its road record to 1-8 on the season and 1-5 in the SWAC. Michael Ford led the Bulldogs with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

"We have to do some soul searching right now," head coach Vann Pettaway said of his team. "We are just not playing with the same intesity and focus on the road, and that is hurting us right now."

Obie Trotter scored 15 points, and Joe Martin added 10.

Larry Williams led Pine Bluff with 15 points off the bench.
