Cullowhee, N.C. - LaRae Lucero earned all-tournament honors over the weekend at the Catamount Classic, hosted by Western Carolina University. Alabama A&M finished the tournament with an 0-4 record against some of the stiffest competition in the Southeast. Lucero batted .455 and drove in three runs in four games, including a double.

Re'Quincia Mack also performed well at the plate, batting .417 (5-12).

In the four games of the tournament, A&M lost game one to 10-2 to UNC-Wilmington, game two to Charleston Southern 13-4, game three to Detroit Mercy 4-3, and game four to Western Carolina 12-0.
