Tampa, Fla. - LaTisha Davis' career is off to a good start. Davis connected with a Sydney Jakes corner serve in the first minutes of the second half Friday to score the game's only goal in a season-opening victory over South Alabama in the University of South Florida Classic. The Bulldogs gave up only one shot on goal defensively, and Priscilla Mensah recorded the 1-0 shutout in goal.

Alabama A&M will face High Point at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
