LaTisha Davis is proving she has a knack for game-winning goals. The Alabama A&M freshman did it again Friday when she beat Louisiana-Monroe's goalkeeper in overtime to give A&M a 2-1 win at the Bulldog Soccer Field. The win pushes the Bulldogs back above .500 for the season and breaks a two-game losing streak.
The A&M offense applied pressure all day with 15 shots on goal. Belinda Kanda scored the game tying goal for the Bulldogs in the 20th minute after ULM staked itself to a 1-0 lead just over five minutes into the game.
The Bulldog defense would stiffen throughout the contest. Goalkeeper Priscilla Mensah faced just four shots on goal, saving three in the victory.
