Final Stats

Houston, Tex. - Alabama A&M put up a furious rally Saturday night after trailing by as many as 18 points with just over six minutes to play, but the Bulldogs came up just short in a 68-66 loss at Texas Southern. Trant Simpson scored 21 points, and Mickell Gladness just missed a triple-double with 11 points, eight rebounds, and eight blocked shots. LaNorris Smith added 17 points, and Johnnie Brown 10 for the Bulldogs.
