Alabama A&M scored just one point over the final six minutes and let a 10-point second half lead dissolve Monday in a 60-58 loss at Prairie View. The Bulldogs had two chances to win the ball game in the final seconds, but both of Johnnie Brown's three-point attempts drew iron. Brown did finish the game with 10 points. LaNorris Smith led the Bulldogs with 14, and Mickell Gladness, who spent a lot of the game in foul trouble, finished with 11.
Alabama A&M built a 10-point lead midway through the second half, but the offense went dry late in the game. The Bulldogs managed just one Smith free throw in the final six minutes after leading 38-31 at the half.
