With one of the toughest weekends in tow, the Alabama A&M Women's Soccer team defeated its first team of the weekend. The Bulldogs shutout Southern 2-0 Friday, now posting a five game winning streak and an undefeated record for the SWAC.
With fifteen minutes off the clock it was Brittan Thomas who scored the first goal for the Bulldogs in the first half. It took nearly the entire second period for the Bulldogs to score their last goal when LaTisha Davis crossed the ball to Rachel Sepeng for the goal with two minutes on the clock.
The Bulldogs finished the day with a total of 28 shots and 13 shots on goal. Ebonie Johnson had five saves.
