Final Stats

Baton Rouge, La. - Southern scored the first 10 points of the game and caught Alabama A&M on a night with a flat performance handing the Bulldogs their third straight loss, 57-43, Monday. A&M's offense never showed up as the Bulldogs hit just 30 percent from the floor and turned the ball over 17 times. Crystal Malone had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead AAMU. The loss drops the Bulldogs into a tie for the SWAC lead with Jackson State at 11-3. AAMU is 15-10 overall.
