Final Stats

Alabama A&M missed a golden chance to take control of the SWAC race heading into the final weekend of play. With Jackson State being upset, A&M could have taken over sole possession of first place, however, Prairie View A&M scored a 52-45 win at Elmore and caused a three-way logjam atop the SWAC standings between AAMU, JSU, and PVAMU. Tamika Green had a double-double for A&M in the loss with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Ashleonte' Samuel also scored 11 points. The Bulldogs hit just 27 percent from the field and committed 26 turnovers.
