Another Comeback Win For Bulldogs, Now 3-0

Savannah, Ga. - Wigberto Flores' run-scoring single capped another Alabama A&M comeback Sunday, and the Bulldogs moved to 3-0 on the season with a 9-8 victory over Florida A&M. AAMU swept all three games in the HBCU Classic over the weekend, and Sunday's game was another come-from-behind win. The Bulldogs trailed 8-5 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, but rallied to remain undefeated.

Tyron Childress came on in relief and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to get the victory on the mound. LaDale Hayes was the only Bulldog with at least two hits and scored the game-winning run on Flores' single.
