Win at Grambling Sets Up SWAC Title Showdown

Grambling, La. - Alabama A&M's 68-61 win Thursday at Grambling keeps the Bulldogs tied among Jackson State and Prairie View A&M atop the SWAC standings heading into Saturday's season finale at Jackson State. The game Saturday will be for the number one seed and the assurance of a post-season berth in at least the WNIT as both teams hold the tie-breaker advantage over Prairie View. The winner will recieve the top seed and should the top seed not advance to the NCAA Tournament with a conference tournament championship next week in Birmingham, it receives the league's berth into the WNIT.

A&M rebounded from a tough loss Monday at home against Prairie View with another solid team performance for the win at Grambling. Tamika Green and Felicia Drummond each had 13 points, and Christian Malone chipped in with 11 points and six assists.
