After a disappointing loss in the first game of the Alabama State series Saturday night, Alabama A&M rebounded Sunday with a sweep of a doubleheader to win the series. The Bulldogs pounded the Hornets 16-2 in game one and won the second game 9-6. LaDale Hayes led the offense in game one with three hits, including two triples. Turner Washington paced the Bulldogs with a three-hit performance in game two that also included a triple.
The wins move A&M to 8-12 on the season and 2-4 in the SWAC.
