Alabama A&M twice rallied from deficits and moved to 4-2 in SWAC play with a three-game sweep of Prairie View this weekend. The Bulldogs opened the series Friday with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to post a 7-6 victory. Alice Young's two-run single provided the winning runs. A&M used the momentum from Friday's win to complete the sweep Saturday 7-5, and another comeback at 15-13. The Bulldogs trailed by as much as 11-6 before rallying.

In game one Friday, the Bulldogs led throughout the game, but gave up four runs in the top of the seventh inning to trail 6-5 before Young's heroics.

Alabama A&M controlled game two building a 5-0 lead pushed by a home run by winning pitcher Debra Borcherding.  Borcherding struck out Prairie View's final batter with the tying runs in scoring position.

The Bulldog sweep was complete with an offensive onslaught in game three.  The Bulldogs rallied down 11-6 with nine runs in their final three at-bats.  Re'Quincia Mack's two-run homer sparked the rally for the win.

The sweep moved the Bulldogs to 4-17 overall with all their victories in league play.
