Bulldogs Rough Start Ended in Victory for Braves

By the top of the second inning Alabama A&M found themselves behind Alcorn State three runs, however, in the bottom of the second Tuner Washington was batted in by a double from teammate Alton Ellison, posting a 3-1 score. With the only two defensive errors for the game in the third inning the Braves were able to score several runs and post a 5-1 score by the top of the fourth inning.

Down by four runs in the bottom of the fourth, the Bulldogs scored one last run when Bernard McKinney singled Jerard Thomas home. Alcorn State posted a final score of 10-2.

The Bulldogs won the opener 9-5 but fell to the Braves in the second game on Friday. Jerard Thomas, LaDale Hayes and Alton Ellison had two hits for a total of 11 hits for the team. Myron Clark took the lose for the game
