Final Stats

Itta Bena, Miss. - Alabama A&M needed one win out of the three-game series this weekend at Mississippi Valley State to secure a spot in the SWAC Tournament later this month. The Bulldogs return to Huntsville without that one win as MVSU swept the weekend series, 1-0, 10-4 on Friday, and 9-1 on Saturday. A&M completes the conference portion of its schedule with an 11-7 record and will still most likely qualify for the postseason conference tournament. The Bulldogs must wait through the upcoming week for other results from SWAC East opponents. A&M needs to finish in front of either Jackson State or Alabama State in the final standings to qualify for the tournament.
