Young Breaks Up Auburn No-hit Bid; Tigers Sweep

Auburn, Ala. - Alice Young's single through the left side of the infield in the second inning proved to be Alabama A&M's only hit in the second game of a doubleheader at Auburn. The Tigers swept the twin bill 9-1 and 17-0. Young also collected two hits in the first game.

Auburn opened a 9-0 lead in game one before A&M notched a run when Re'Quincia Mack scored on a Tiger throwing error.  Debra Borcherding took the pitching loss for the Bulldogs.

In the second game, Auburn scored its first nine batters of the game and ran away with the contest.  Brandy Harrell lasted just one inning in the loss.
