Alabama A&M Falls 8-2 Against Jackson State

Baton Rouge, La. - Alabama A&M needed this win against Jackson State in order to take one step closer to the semi-final round of the 2007 SWAC Tournament. The Bulldogs were unable to fight with the Tigers as they took the lead early and advanced to the semi-final round posting a final score of 8-2.

Jackson State got three runs in the second inning capped by a two-run home. They would add two more in the third inning, one in the fifth and two in the seventh inning.

The Bulldogs got a run in the third inning when Re'Quincia Mack used a sacrifice fly to score Ne'Chell Bowens. They later added a run in the seventh inning when Brandy Harrell doubled to score Williams.

Debra Borcherding struck out 12 Tigers in the losing effort.
