Final Stats

Alabama A&M opened its home season Sunday and held tough against Middle Tennessee State. In the end, however, the Blue Raiders pulled out a tight 2-0 victory with single goals in each half. The Bulldogs managed eight shots on goal, all in the second half, but could not break through with a tying goal before MTSU opened up a 2-0 advantage. Ebonie Johnson played one of her most impressive games in goal and is gaining more and more experience at her new position.

Johnson had seven saves and faced 18 shots from the Raiders.

AAMU posted eight shots on goal by eight different players.
